Another lovely day in Edinburgh!

Wrapped up freelance work, then headed over to the local park.  We are currently staying in Stockbridge, a neighbourhood in Edinburgh that has quite a few green areas. These include Inverleath Park and the Botanical Gardens. While a bit further away from the city center, we've enjoyed the relative peace and quiet of staying a bit out of the way, as well as the collection of little stores and coffee shops, many of which are dog friendly.

On the way to the park, did something I tend to not do as much nowadays that I am a digital nomad -- I popped into a grocery store during rush hour. Gosh, those places get quite crowded when it's not the middle of the day. Another one of the great benefits of having a flexible schedule is getting to do one's shopping when it is most convenient and the place is not too packed.

As luck would have it, my rather lovely walk around Inverleath park was accompanied by...bagpiping! A truly Scottish experience.
